Describe Yourself:Although I have many interests, my purpose for hosting this Gather site is strictly for raising the awareness of the emerging/growing of men's legwear (i.e., tights, pantyhose, etc.). So, although my focus seems narrow on here, there's a reason for that.

On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:Increased awareness that many otherwise normal and well-adjusted guys are wearing sheer and opaque nylon legwear--either under long pants, or more frequently, with shorts. There are many others who are afraid to let it be known that--for a variety of legitimate reasons--they wear nylon hosiery. Promoting the awareness that this does NOT equate with cross-dressing or other fetish-type behavior will reduce that fear to wear what they want--without being wrongly labeled. So, THAT'S what I'm looking for on Gather...

Ranjit K., Dec 15, 2008, 11:01PM ESTHi Steve,
I saw your post on my site. No, it's not esoteric rant but in fact very helpful advice. I was amazed when wearing tights under my pants actually got me to wear better looking pants. I just hope no one notices the reason I'm wearing better looking business pants to work more often than not even if I am just a programmer. Thanks. -

Ranjit K., Nov 11, 2008, 1:15AM ESTInteresting. A man who wears tights and is also conservative? I would have never imagined that. Oh but who am I kidding ? Even a couple of supposedly "liberal" women at my workplace show their intolerance towards men who wear speedos and biker's tights and they're no more tolerant of those who wear tights and/or pantyhose. Then again by the time society tolerates men wearing nylons on their legs publicly, I fear the oil to produce it will run out unless there's another way to make nylons free of petroleum or renewable petroleum from algae saves the day. Sorry if I sound too pessimistic.

Martian Bachelor , Nov 5, 2008, 8:28PM ESTHi Steve. Hang in there. The system won't let Obama be a far leftist. In addition to Republicans, there are conservative Democrats too that won't let him get away with it. In all the 40 years of politics, I can't say that Nixon or either of the Bushes was the best role model for conservatism. I think Reagan was great because he was tolerant and somewhat moderate rather than polarizing though some say he was partisan. Also, Mccain broke with conservatism on free trade, the bailout for Wall Street, and the immigration bill he did with Ted Kennedy. The Republican Party needs a young firm moderate conservative in the long run ala Reagan and not a panderer. Good luck.
